According to figures released by Israel, no fewer than 98 detainees from Palestine have lost their lives while detained starting from October 2023. A rights monitoring body based in Israel has stated that the true toll is probably substantially greater, due to many of missing people from Gaza.

Study Results

Additional detainees who perished in confinement by Israeli authorities are unidentified. Detention administrators and armed services provided researchers with the total of deaths in confinement, and basic other details including the facility where they died, but without the prisoners’ names.
